Davion Doreece Malone, 23, is in the Marion County Jail after detectives arrested Malone for armed commercial robbery. This case started October 1, 2009, when the owner of Stop-N-Save store, 287 Marion Oaks Lane, Ocala, was leaving the store around 9 p.m. The owner was approached by Malone who was pointing a black revolver at the owner. Malone forced the victim to hand over a bag (containing money). Malone then ran away, into nearby woods.

The incident was captured on the store’s video surveillance. Images, from the video, were presented to the public and the community provided details to detectives, who were able to track down Malone and arrest him.

Malone’s bond is $50,000.
