Lieutenant Carlton Curtis
North-Central District Commander

Hello, my name is Lieutenant Carlton Curtis and I am the Commander of the North Central District Office.

 The district encompasses 99.3 square miles, with an estimated population of 24,053. It is comprised of the following communities: Anthony, Sparr, Citra, and Silver Springs.

There are currently 14 deputies assigned to the North Central district, who serve the citizens of Marion County. There is also a volunteer group within the district (Citizens On Patrol-COPS). These volunteers assist law enforcement by being the extra eyes and ears in our community to help deter crime. If you are interested in joining our volunteer group, please stop by our office and fill out a volunteer application.

We have a community meeting room that is available for non-profit groups to use, at no charge. Our office number is 352-438-5920 if you would like to reserve the room for use.

Hello, my name is Lieutenant Keith McQuaig. I am your District Commander for the Northwest District Office. 

The district encompasses 227.9 square miles, with an estimated population of 24,911. It is comprised of numerous communities to include: Kendrick, Martin, Zuber, Fairfield, Flemington, the Town of Reddick, the Town of McIntosh, Orange Lake, Shiloh and Blitchton. It is home to the Horses in the Sun (H.I.T.S) competition, which draws equestrians from all over the world every year.

There are currently 12 deputies assigned to the Northwest district, who serve the citizens of Northwest Marion County. There is also a volunteer group within the district (Citizens On Patrol-COPS). These volunteers assist law enforcement by being the extra eyes and ears in our community to help deter crime.
