Senior Accounting Clerk
There is a vacancy in the Support Services Bureau for the position of Senior Accounting Clerk.
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
A minimum of three years of accounting/booking and excel experience. Ability to perform all functions of a fully charged bookkeeper and general office skills. Must handle confidential matters without compromising confidentiality. Able to follow instructions with minimum supervision, organize own work, proficiency in English grammar, spelling and punctuation. Must work harmoniously with the public and agency personnel. Must have a valid Driver’s License. Perform any additional duties that may be required by the Sheriff or through necessity of situations.
A brief job description of the position is as follows:
This is a very responsible position that handles various jail related funds and daily accounting functions of the Fiscal Office. These functions include receipt of cash funds; assist with preparation of agency payroll, managing retiree’s insurance payments and maintaining books and paying bills.
The pay grade assigned to this position is: 7 ($25,897.63-$45,995.81)
