The Marion County Sheriff’s Office Foundation (MCSOF) was created in 2008 to support the Sheriff’s budget, along with community, and volunteer programs. The Foundation Board consists of community and business-minded volunteers who work in partnership with the Marion County Sheriff’s office to enhance the volunteer programs.
The purpose of the MCSOF is to raise the funds necessary to help operate the volunteer and outreach programs. We also help to offset this cost from the Sheriff’s Office budget.
We are proud to say the residents of Marion County enjoy one of the lowest crime rates in the state of Florida. Our plan is to continue to be an active partner with the community and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
By working together, we can help secure our future. With your generous donations to the Foundation, we can ensure that our critical volunteer programs are sustained, even through future budget constraints.
The Board welcomes any volunteer who wants to help our effort. Click here if you are interested in becoming a volunteer.
Your support and generosity for the MCSO Foundation are greatly appreciated.
